# Generate on-brand Google Ads variations in 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes

Austin Lau, a growth marketer at Anthropic with no coding background, used Claude Code to build a Figma plugin for ad variants and a command that drafts responsive search ads checked against brand and Google Ads rules. Ad creation dropped from about 30 minutes to about 30 seconds.

### Steps

1. Export your campaign keywords and current ad copy to a CSV.
2. Write a short brand-voice guide and a list of Google Ads limits (30-character headlines, 90-character descriptions).
3. Ask Claude Code to create a reusable command that reads both and drafts 15 headlines and 4 descriptions per ad group.
4. Have it check every line against the character limits and output a CSV ready for upload.
5. Review the CSV yourself before uploading to Google Ads.

### Prompt

```
Read keywords.csv and brand-voice.md in this folder. For each ad group, write 15 responsive search ad headlines (max 30 characters each) and 4 descriptions (max 90 characters each) that use the keywords naturally and follow the brand voice. Check every line's length and rewrite any that are too long. Save the result as rsa-drafts.csv with columns ad_group, type, text, char_count.
```
