How this ranking works

Tool Rank is out of 100. Half comes from our own test of each tool on the same set of tasks. The other half comes from the directory: how many real, reported use cases the tool shows up in (up to 25; our own recipes never count), how strong those use cases score (up to 15), and how easy it is for a beginner (up to 10).
