Pricing notes

perplexity.ai/pricing failed to load. The $20/mo Pro price comes from Perplexity's own Max launch blog post, which may be dated. Max is $200/mo or $2,000/yr (help center). Comet being free for everyone is reported by press (Engadget, Tom's Guide); the official FAQ answer did not render. Comet Assistant needs Pro or higher per the help center.

Fill an online shopping cart with Comet, then finish checkout yourself

Android Authority's Karandeep Singh had Comet add pasta ingredients to an Amazon cart in seconds, but it looped for minutes on an item that wasn't sold locally. eMarketer's Grace Harmon saw Comet research and pick boots well, then repeatedly error at checkout.

Find a top-rated restaurant and book it after confirmation with Perplexity Comet

Tom's Guide writer Priyanca Rajput asked Comet to check top-rated restaurants and availability, and it made the reservation after asking her to confirm, which she called a standout. Its more personal outputs in the same test, like a workout plan, felt generic.
