Generate 2,000+ qualified advertiser leads in a month with a web-searching agent
Andrew Harding at Slate Studios built a Zapier Agent trained on Slate's advertiser personas that searches the web for target accounts and contacts and drops them into Google Sheets. One agent produced more than 2,000 qualified leads in its first month.

How to do it
- Write down two or three buyer personas: industry, company size, job titles you sell to.
- Create a Zapier Agent and paste the personas into its instructions.
- Give it web search and a Google Sheets action with columns for company, contact, title, source link and fit reason.
- Run it on a small batch, check the rows by hand, and tighten the instructions where it picks poor fits.
- Once quality holds, send approved rows on to your CRM or outreach tool.
The prompt
You are a lead researcher. Our ideal buyers are: [persona 1], [persona 2]. Search the web for 25 companies that match, and for each find one decision-maker with a matching title. For every lead add a row to the Google Sheet with: company, website, contact name, title, LinkedIn or source URL, and one sentence on why they fit. Skip any company you cannot verify from a public source.
