Research every new lead and draft a personal first email

When a lead comes in, an agent reads their company site, scores the fit against your ideal customer and drafts a short, specific email for you to approve.

How to do it

  1. Trigger on a new form entry, CRM record or CSV row.
  2. Fetch the company homepage and about page.
  3. Have the agent summarize what the company does and who it serves.
  4. Score fit from 1 to 5 against your ideal customer, with a one-line reason.
  5. For scores of 3 or more, draft a first email under 110 words that mentions one true, specific detail.
  6. Put drafts in Gmail drafts or a review queue; nothing sends without your approval.
  7. Follow anti-spam law: include an opt-out and your business address, and only email people you have a lawful reason to contact.

The prompt

My ideal customer: {{icp}}.

LEAD: {{name}}, {{role}} at {{company}} ({{industry}}, {{size}}).
Website summary: {{site_summary}}

Step 1. Return JSON: {"fit": 1-5, "reason": "one sentence", "likely_problem": "one sentence"}. Use "unknown" for anything not in the data.
Step 2. If fit is 3 or more, write an email under 110 words: a subject under 6 words, a first line that mentions one specific true detail from their site, one sentence on the likely problem, one sentence on how I help with a concrete result, and a question as the call to action. No buzzwords, no flattery, no claims I cannot back up. Sign as {{my_name}}.
