How to do it

  1. Gather the denial letter, the relevant policy pages and any receipts or records.
  2. Remove policy numbers and personal ID numbers you do not need to share.
  3. Run the prompt.
  4. Check every policy quote against the original document.
  5. Send the appeal the way the denial letter says to, and keep a copy.

The prompt

I am appealing a denied insurance claim. Here is the denial letter, the relevant policy sections and my records.

1. Explain in plain words why they denied it.
2. Find the policy language that supports covering it, and quote it exactly with section numbers.
3. List what evidence I should attach.
4. Write a firm, polite appeal letter under 400 words that cites those sections, asks for a specific outcome and a written response by a date.
If the denial looks correct under the policy, tell me that instead.
